15 best psytrance sample packs (GOA & Psytrance)

Zenhiser Psylux - Psytrance
When you purchase through the links on my site, you support the site at no extra cost to you. Here is how it works.

Psytrance is a strange beast. It started in the late 80s and early 90s on the beaches of Goa, India, where Israeli travellers and European hippies were experimenting with hypnotic, repetitive electronic music designed to soundtrack all-night gatherings under the stars.

From those roots, the genre exploded into Full-On, Progressive Psy, Goa Trance, Forest, Hi-Tech, and the modern festival sound you’d hear at Ozora or Boom Festival today.

This list pulls together 15 of the best psytrance sample packs out there, plus one bonus pick at the end. Singomakers dominates the genre with their massive Astral Psytrance and Ultra Pack series, Loopmasters brings their Intelligence line built around producer Somnia, and Zenhiser rounds things out with fresh modern releases.

There’s something here whether you’re chasing 138 BPM hypnotic rollers or 145 BPM full-on festival anthems. Image credits go to Loopmasters.

1. Singomakers Astral Psytrance

Check this pack

Singomakers Astral Psytrance

The pack that started Singomakers’ legendary Astral Psytrance series, and honestly it still holds up years later. 1.73 GB at 138 BPM of sounds inspired by Astrix, Astral Projection, Shpongle, Infected Mushroom, Vini Vici, Ace Ventura, and Talamasca, plus labels like Iboga Records, Iono Music, TIP World, Dragonfly Records, and HOM-Mega Productions.

What I love is the depth of the ethnic content. 40 ethnic loops with live recorded flute, Tibetan bells, shakers, and percussions, alongside 42 mantra vocals split into dry and wet versions. That’s where psytrance gets its spiritual edge, and Singomakers nailed it.

The breakdown gives you everything: 51 bass loops, 80 drum loops, 50 fills & buildups, 22 gated vocal loops, 25 bongos, 30 kicks, 30 snares, 110 SFX, 50 synth fills, and 60 synth loops. Plus 50 bass MIDI, 60 synth MIDI, 353 Rex2 loops, and 13 sampler patches for Battery, EXS24, Kontakt2+, and NNXT.

For me this pack is a benchmark. If you want to make festival-ready psytrance with proper spiritual character, this is one of the best starting points you can grab. Suitable for Psytrance, Full-On, Goa Trance, Progressive Psy, Cinematic, and Psystep.

Pros: Authentic 138 BPM sound with live ethnic instruments and mantra vocals. Cons: Older release from 2017, so some samples lean classic rather than modern festival.

2. Singomakers Astral Psytrance 2

Check this pack

Singomakers Astral Psytrance 2

If Astral Psytrance was the foundation, Astral Psytrance 2 is the much bigger, more refined sequel. 3.13 GB packed with 1532 psytrance elements, which is a serious step up in scale from volume one.

The vocal content is where this pack really shines. 100 mantra vocals (44 dry, 56 wet), 42 shamanic vocals (18 dry, 24 wet), 50 gated vocals, plus 56 live & cinematic loops featuring live flutes, tambs, and percussions. That’s a lot of ammunition for the spiritual side of psytrance.

Beyond vocals you’re getting 160 one-shots, 64 psy bass loops, 60 synth loops, 104 drum loops, 605 Rex2 files, 60 sampler patches, 102 SFX, 103 synth fills, and 26 drum fills & build-ups. The pack also includes discount codes for Singomakers’ Fatmaker, Kick Tweak, and Magic Stereo plugins, which is a nice extra.

What I appreciate is how diverse the content feels compared to volume one. There’s more polish, more variety, and the sound design has clearly evolved. Suitable for Psytrance, Full-On, Goa Trance, Progressive Psy, Trance, Psystyle, Cinematic, and Electronica production. Solid pick if you want maximum value in one library.

Pros: Massive 3.13 GB with 1532 elements and 100 mantra vocals plus shamanic and gated variants. Cons: Sheer size means it takes time to dig through and find your favourites.

3. Loopmasters Psytrance Intelligence

Check this pack

Loopmasters Psytrance Intelligence

Loopmasters’ in-house take on the genre, and a different vibe from the Singomakers releases. Psytrance Intelligence runs at 138 BPM with 1.14 GB of content built around electrifying basslines, punching beats, and trippy lead synths.

The breakdown is granular in the best way. 242 loops including 37 bass loops, 123 drum loops, 41 music loops, 18 FX loops, and 15 voice glitches. Then 181 one hits, plus 278 Rex2 loops and 63 sampler patches for NNXT, Halion, SFZ, Kontakt, and EXS24. The detail is impressive.

What I like about this pack is how it goes beyond just psytrance. The Loopmasters team designed it to work for Psytrance, Techno, and Hard Trance, so the high-octane energy translates well outside the genre too. All melodic content is key-labelled for easy mixing.

The 6 multi-sample basses with 63 samples and 5 synth multisampled instruments with 179 samples are a real bonus. You’re not just getting loops, you’re getting playable instruments you can use across multiple tracks. Genuine value for the price point.

Pros: 138 BPM content built for Psytrance, Techno, and Hard Trance with playable multi-sampled instruments. Cons: Smaller library at 1.14 GB compared to Singomakers’ bigger packs.

4. Singomakers Psytrance Ultra Pack 3

Check this pack

Singomakers Psytrance Ultra Pack 3

Released in April 2024, this is one of the most modern and complete psytrance packs Singomakers have put out. Psytrance Ultra Pack 3 is 3.5 GB at 145 BPM with nearly 1,500 files, and importantly it’s not a compilation, it’s all original new content.

Inspired by Astrix, Ace Ventura, Vertical Mode, G.M.S., 1200 Micrograms, Avalon & Faders, Volcano On Mars, Braincell, and Burn in Noise, plus labels like Iboga Records, Sacred Technology, Iono Music, TIP Records, and Nano Records. That artist list reads like a modern psytrance hall of fame.

You’re getting synth fills and loop variations, pounding basslines, celestial vocals, fills & builds, full drums and stem parts, one-shots, sound effects, over 150 Serum presets, MIDI files, and 3 bonus video tutorials. Each Serum preset is made from scratch which means total originality, no recycled synth content.

The studio gear list is properly serious too. Avalon VT 747, Manley Passive EQ, UAD-2, LA2A compressor, Moog Sub37, Virus TI-2, and Korg MS2000b all went into making the samples. That’s high-end pro studio kit, and you can hear it in the sound. For modern 145 BPM full-on, this is one of the best.

Pros: Brand new 3.5 GB original content with 150 Serum presets and 3 video tutorials. Cons: 145 BPM only which limits use for slower psy subgenres.

5. Singomakers Psytrance Ultra Pack

Check this pack

Singomakers Psytrance Ultra Pack

The original Psytrance Ultra Pack that started this series, still a heavyweight at 3.21 GB at 145 BPM. Inspired by Astral Projection, Astrix, Ace Ventura, 1200 Micrograms, G.M.S, Vertical Mode, and Outsiders with the label list including Iboga Records, Sacred Technology, Iono Music, TIP Records, Nano Records, Dragonfly Records, and HOM-Mega Productions.

The breakdown is enormous. 104 bass loops, 107 synth loops, 101 synth fills, 103 drum loops, 31 atmospheric pads, 79 vocal loops, and 242 one-shots that include 57 bass shots FX, 51 regular bass shots, 25 big drums, 11 crashes, 34 hihats, 38 psy kicks, and 26 snares.

What pushes this over the top is the 6 multi kits with 42 wav loops, 6 full mixes, and an Ableton Live mix, plus 158 VST synth patches split between 77 NI Massive presets and 81 Serum presets. You also get 34 drum fills, 90 SFX, and 2 video tutorials.

I love that the pack includes promo codes for the Singomakers Fatmaker, Kick Tweak, and Magic Stereo VST/AU plugins. Those plugins have been used by Chris Lake, Hardwell, W&W, Dannic, and others, so the discount alone is worth something. Massive value for full-on producers.

Pros: Huge 3.21 GB with 6 multi kits, 158 VST patches across NI Massive and Serum, plus video tutorials. Cons: Same 145 BPM focus as the third volume, no slower tempo content.

6. Singomakers Psytrance Wonderland

Check this pack

Singomakers Psytrance Wonderland

Psytrance Wonderland was inspired by the psychedelic aspects of Alice in Wonderland, which is a fitting concept for this genre. 2.33 GB of fat & burning psy basses, female and male vocals, epic festival synths, hypnotic trance melodies, and wall-breaking drums.

The inspiration list extends beyond just psytrance artists. Vini Vici, KSHMR, Armin van Buuren, Astrix, Astral Projection, Shpongle, Infected Mushroom, Sesto Sento, G.M.S, Vertical Mode, Ace Ventura, and Talamasca, with labels including Iboga Records, Dharma, Iono Music, TIP World, Armada, Dragonfly Records, and HOM-Mega Productions. That EDM crossover feel is baked into the pack.

What I appreciate is the proper triplet loop labelling. The triplet sound is a huge part of psytrance and most packs don’t bother labelling them properly, so you’re left guessing. Wonderland gets this right and it makes a real difference in workflow.

If you want your tracks landing at festivals like Sunburn, Ozora, Summer Eclipse, FullMoon, or Vuuv Festival, this pack is built for that big main-stage energy. The female and male vocals add depth that pure mantra vocal packs sometimes lack. Solid all-rounder.

Pros: 2.33 GB with both male and female vocals and proper triplet loop labelling for psy workflow. Cons: Older release that leans more towards the 2019 festival sound than current trends.

7. Zenhiser Vibralux – Psytrance

Check this pack

Zenhiser Vibralux - Psytrance

A fresh 2026 release from Zenhiser, and one of their most comprehensive psytrance toolkits to date. Vibralux clocks in at nearly 5 GB of content, focused on Psytrance & Progressive Psytrance built around groove, clarity, and supreme production standards.

The producer behind it has credits on Iboga, Iono, and Digital Om, plus performances at major festivals including Ozora and Indian Spirit. That’s not a CV you can fake, and you can hear it in how the pack flows together. Tight low end, open midrange, designed to retain energy without losing detail at higher tempos.

The breakdown is impressive. 771 total samples and 150 MIDI files running at 140-142 BPM, with 50 bass synth loops, 150 drum loops, 50 music loops, 102 lead synth loops, 100 pluck synth loops, plus tons of one-shots, FX, and MIDI files for leads, basses, and plucks.

What really sets this pack apart is the engineering. The whole thing is mixed and mastered with absolute precision so you can drop loops straight into a session without heavy reworking. 24-Bit WAV quality throughout. If you want a modern, polished psytrance pack that doesn’t fight you, this is it.

Pros: Nearly 5 GB of mix-ready Progressive Psytrance sounds with 150 MIDI files. Cons: Polish-first approach means less raw character than older underground packs.

8. Singomakers Psytrance Hypnosis

Check this pack

Singomakers Psytrance Hypnosis

Released in May 2023, Psytrance Hypnosis is built around the more hypnotic, mind-bending side of the genre. 2 GB of content inspired by Astrix, Ace Ventura, Infected Mushroom, Vertical Mode, 1200 Micrograms, Electric Universe, and Space Tribe.

The synth loop variety is the strong point here. 167 synth loops broken down into acid, drones, pads, FM, plucks, psy leads, and fills. That kind of categorisation makes it easy to find what you need fast, especially when you’re chasing specific textures for a track.

You also get 123 drum loops, 62 bass loops, 192 one-shots, 34 drum fills & build-ups, 30 vocal loops, 53 SFX, 33 Xfer Serum presets, 88 MIDI files, and 12 sampler patches for EXS24, Kontakt 2+, and NNXT. Plus the usual Singomakers promo & discount folder.

What I appreciate about this pack is how it focuses on the more cerebral, hypnotic side of psytrance rather than just festival bangers. Acid loops, drones, pads, and FM synths are all about texture and atmosphere, which is exactly what you need for the mind-melting end of the genre. Excellent for hypnotic and progressive styles.

Pros: 167 synth loops properly categorised by type, with acid, drones, FM, and 33 Serum presets. Cons: Less focus on big festival kicks, more on hypnotic textures.

9. Singomakers Psytrance Fairy Tales

Check this pack

Singomakers Psytrance Fairy Tales

Easily one of the most original concept packs Singomakers have done. Psytrance Fairy Tales is 2.25 GB at 142 BPM that fuses rough basses, modulated synths, and gated vocals with actual vocal parts from old folk tales. That’s a wild concept and it works.

The fairy tale voices are the centerpiece. 55 fairy tales voices split into 23 dry and 32 wet versions, alongside 48 gated vocal loops (22 dry, 26 wet). Mixing real storytelling with hypnotic psytrance creates this unique cinematic narrative quality you don’t find in any other pack on this list.

Beyond the vocal angle you’re getting 60 bass loops, 25 drum fills, 89 drum loops, 194 one-shots, 386 Rex2 files, 39 rise-up sequences, 62 SFX, 73 synth loops, and 11 sampler patches including 5 drum kits, 5 FX kits, and 1 zap synths kit.

For me this pack is special because it leans into the storytelling tradition that’s always been part of psytrance culture. Goa was always about journeys and transformation, and Fairy Tales captures that energy in a way most packs don’t even try to. Suitable for Psytrance, Full-On, Goa Trance, Progressive Psy, Cinematic, and Psystep.

Pros: Unique concept with 55 fairy tale vocal samples that bring storytelling depth to your tracks. Cons: Niche concept, the vocal content might not fit every track style.

10. Singomakers Psytrance Resurrection

Check this pack

Singomakers Psytrance Resurrection

Psytrance Resurrection lands at a tighter 140 BPM than the Ultra Pack series, which makes it sit nicely between traditional and full-on psytrance. 1.32 GB of content inspired by Astrix, Astral Projection, Shpongle, Infected Mushroom, and Sesto Sento, with the usual label suspects of Iboga, Iono, TIP World, Dragonfly, and HOM-Mega.

The pack covers all the bases without going overboard. 40 phat bass loops, 24 drum fills, 20 ethnic loops, 20 synth fills, 60 synth loops, 30 full drum loops, 30 top loops, 30 voice loops, 52 FX, and 146 one-shots including 10 basses, 20 claps, 16 crashes, 20 hi-hats, 30 kicks, 20 percussions, 20 snares, and 10 synths.

The 30 sampler patches are a real workflow saver. 6 drum kits, 4 FX kits, 10 bass shots kits, and 10 synth shots kits all formatted and ready to play. Combined with 254 Rex2 files, you’ve got tons of options for getting up and running fast.

What I like is that this pack has a slightly less polished feel than the Ultra Pack series, which gives it more raw, classic character. If you’re in love with Psytrance, Goa, big festivals and morning yoga, this captures that vibe perfectly. Solid mid-size pack with everything you need.

Pros: Tight 140 BPM focus with 30 ready-to-play sampler patches for quick production. Cons: Smaller 1.32 GB library compared to Singomakers’ bigger Ultra Pack releases.

11. Singomakers Psytrance Ultra Pack 2

Check this pack

Singomakers Psytrance Ultra Pack 2

Sandwiched between Ultra Pack 1 and Ultra Pack 3, this November 2021 release brought serious upgrades to the series. 3.06 GB at 145 BPM with over 1,500 samples and presets, all brand new content rather than a compilation.

The vocal content is where this pack really expanded. 151 vocal loops with 89 wet and 62 dry versions, which is a massive jump from earlier packs. Plus you’re getting 107 bass loops, 102 synth loops, 170 synth fills, 205 drum loops & drum fills, 35 pads & soundscapes, and 309 one-shots.

The Serum integration is also stepped up here. 160 Serum presets alongside 3 video tutorials and 24 sampler patches including 6 bass shot kits, 8 FX bass kits, 5 drum kits, and 5 FX kits. You’re getting both the audio content and the synth presets to design your own sounds from scratch.

For me this is the most complete of the Ultra Pack series in terms of pure content variety. The 6 multi kits with full Ableton Live mixes are also a nice production teaching tool, since you can see how all the elements fit together. Inspired by Astrix, Ace Ventura, G.M.S, Vertical Mode, 1200 Micrograms, and Space Tribe.

Pros: Huge 151 vocal loops with wet/dry versions and 160 Serum presets for total flexibility. Cons: Sheer scale at 3.06 GB can be overwhelming, takes time to navigate.

12. Loopmasters Psytrance Intelligence 2

Check this pack

Loopmasters Psytrance Intelligence 2

The follow-up to Intelligence 1, this time produced by Russian psytrance guru Somnia. 1.69 GB at 138-140 BPM with 855 individual 24-bit WAV files, designed for fans of Astrix, Bizzare Contact, Skazi, Neelix, Blastoyz, Vini Vici, and Ace Ventura.

What sets this pack apart is the artist authenticity. Somnia is a regular headliner at major psytrance festivals around the world, so you’re not just getting Loopmasters in-house production, you’re getting actual artist sound design from someone living in the scene. That makes a real difference.

The pack delivers bubbling basslines, thumping drums, trippy tops, expansive cinematics, flowing builds, dark vocal chops, and stunning synths that are gated, arpeggiated, and sequenced to perfection. Plus over 140 one-shot samples covering drums, synths, basses, and FX.

For me this pack works best for producers who want a mix of old-school psy roots and modern festival energy. The 138-140 BPM range gives you flexibility to sit in either camp, and Somnia’s experience as a touring artist means the samples actually translate to live sets. Strong second entry from Loopmasters.

Pros: Made by touring artist Somnia with 855 files spanning 138-140 BPM for tempo flexibility. Cons: Slightly smaller library than Singomakers’ bigger packs at 1.69 GB.

13. Zenhiser Psylux – Psytrance

Check this pack

Zenhiser Psylux - Psytrance

A very fresh April 2026 release from Zenhiser, and one that leans heavily into character and warmth rather than over-polished perfection. Psylux has a strong analog presence running through the pack with synth choices designed to bring nostalgia and warmth to your sessions.

The content breakdown is enormous. 162 drum loops, 50 bass synth loops, 50 music loops, 50 arp synth loops, 97 lead synth loops, 14 pad synth loops, 8 pluck synth loops, 33 FX synth loops, and 22 vocal loops. Plus 42 perc loops and 23 deep perc loops for added rhythmic detail.

What I really appreciate is the string loops section. Real banjo, gushing, kora, and oud loops bring authentic ethnic character that synthesised psytrance often lacks. That’s the Goa influence preserved in a modern release. Combined with the analog warmth, this pack has a unique soul.

The MIDI content is also generous. 49 lead synth MIDI, 4 string synth MIDI, 23 arp MIDI, 41 lead MIDI, 5 pad MIDI, and 3 pluck MIDI. Drawing influence from across the Psy spectrum including Progressive elements, touches of Psy-Techno, and classic full-bodied Psytrance energy. Solid pack with personality.

Pros: Analog warmth and authentic banjo, kora, oud, and gushing string loops for ethnic character. Cons: Brand new 2026 release so user reviews and longterm reputation aren’t established yet.

14. Singomakers Psytrance Mantra Vocals 2

Check this pack

Singomakers Psytrance Mantra Vocals 2

If you’ve worked with the original Psytrance Mantra Vocals, you know how influential that pack was. Samples from volume one have been used by KSHMR, Berg, Futuristic Polar Bears, Marnik, Billx & Mat Weasel Busters, Blastoyz, and Omiki at the world’s biggest festivals. Volume 2 raises the bar.

2.13 GB at 140 BPM with a focus on the vocal side that defines modern psytrance. You get mantra vocals, shamanic vocals, adlib vocals, and gated vocals, alongside the usual bass, synth, and pad loops, drum loops and fills, one-shots, SFX, and sampler patches. Don’t let the vocal-focused name fool you, this pack has everything.

The genre flexibility is also worth mentioning. While built for psytrance, the vocals work brilliantly across EDM, house, techno, and hard dance. That crossover potential is a big reason why these vocals have ended up in so many high-profile tracks across multiple genres.

What I love is that this pack is essentially a complete production toolkit disguised as a vocal pack. Punchy drums and basslines in straight and triplet feel, pads, fills, synths, male and female vocals, and gated vocals in straight and triplet versions too. Inspired by Astrix, Vini Vici, Vertical Mode, Ace Ventura, Shpongle, Sesto Sento, G.M.S, and Talamasca.

Pros: Vocal pack that’s actually a complete toolkit with mantra, shamanic, adlib, and gated vocals plus drums and bass. Cons: Vocal-heavy approach means producers wanting purely instrumental content might find less use.

15. Singomakers Psytrance Spirit

Check this pack

Singomakers Psytrance Spirit

Closing out the main 15 with another Singomakers classic. Psytrance Spirit is built around preparing your mind and spirit for what they call “a new trip to Nirvana”, which is exactly the kind of marketing speak that actually fits this genre.

Inspired by Astrix, Astral Projection, Shpongle, Dragonfly, Infected Mushroom, and Sesto Sento, with labels like Iboga Records, Iono Music, TIP World, Dragonfly Records, and HOM-Mega Productions. The classic Singomakers reference list, applied to a slightly more meditative angle than their festival-focused Ultra Packs.

What stands out about this pack is how much care went into processing. All samples have been created and processed with HQ studio equipment from Avalon, Manley, UAD, SSL, and outboard synths like Virus TI2, Moog, DSI, Korg, and 0-Cost, plus mics from Soyuz and Rode. All the drum hits, synths, and loops are lovingly processed to be as punchy and warm as possible.

For me this pack works best when you want classic, golden-era psytrance feel with modern production polish. Suitable for Psytrance, Full-On, Goa Trance, Progressive Psy, Trance, Electronica, Cinematic, and Psystep. Includes promo codes for the Fatmaker, Kick Tweak, and Magic Stereo VST/AU plugins as a bonus.

Pros: Classic Singomakers polish with high-end studio gear processing for warm, punchy samples. Cons: Older release, sound leans towards classic psy rather than modern festival.

Bonus: Function Loops Psytrance Stories

Check this pack

Function Loops Psytrance Stories

One bonus pick to round things off, and a different angle from the Singomakers and Loopmasters releases. Function Loops Psytrance Stories is built around 6 construction kits rather than disconnected loops, which gives you a completely different workflow.

Each construction kit comes loaded with everything: kicks, percussion, drum fills, basslines, leads, arps, FM synths, 303s, zaps, buildups, and various FX loops. Plus you’re getting stems, MIDI files, one-shots, and a bonus collection of VSTi presets that were used to make the pack.

What I love about the construction kit format is how it teaches you arrangement. You can see exactly how the pros structure their drops, breakdowns, and builds, then use those templates as starting points for your own original tracks. It’s like getting a free production lesson with each kit.

For producers who struggle to start tracks from scratch, this pack is genuinely valuable. The 303 acid loops are also a nice nod to the original Goa Trance roots of the genre. Function Loops consistently delivers solid psy content, and Stories is one of their stronger releases.

Pros: 6 complete construction kits with stems, MIDI, one-shots, and VSTi presets for full track teardowns. Cons: Construction kit format means less variety than packs with separate disconnected loops.
