Drill went from a Chicago basement sound to a global movement faster than almost any genre in the last decade. Chicago invented it, the UK rebuilt it with sliding 808s and broken hi-hat patterns, New York gave it Pop Smoke, and now you’ve got French drill, Sample Drill, Jersey drill, Bronx drill, all with their own DNA.
The thing about drill is that the production has a really specific feel. Those rolling triplet hi-hats, the sliding 808 glides, the cold piano melodies, the dark string stabs. Get any one of those wrong and the beat just doesn’t sit right.
That’s why drill sample packs are gold for producers. Personally I find drill is one of those genres where having the right starter samples makes a massive difference, the cold piano loops and the gliding 808 patterns are the soul of the genre. This list rounds up the best drill sample packs on Loopmasters covering UK drill, French drill, US drill, dark drill, and trap-flavoured drill. Image credits go to Loopmasters & Splice.
1. Soundsmiths Drillers & Trappers: London Drill

Starting with one of the best London drill packs out there. Drillers & Trappers: London Drill by Soundsmiths draws inspiration from the concrete streets of the city, instantly setting that hauntingly cold underground tone London drill is known for.
Inside you get a huge range of drum loops split into top, bottom, and full loops, with rapid hi-hat trap rhythms, slapping snares, and knocking kicks. There’s also 63 one-shot drums, melodic loops with haunting bells, cold pianos, and ethereal organs, plus melodic one-shots, 808s, saturated basslines, and atmospheric FX.
Every sample is named with key, tempo, and tags showing what works together, so you can build a polished beat fast. I love how organised this pack is, the tagging system means you spend less time auditioning and more time making. For me this is the go-to pack if you’re producing in the Headie One, Digga D, or Central Cee territory.
Pros: Tagged samples for fast beat building plus haunting melodics and slapping drums. Cons: UK-specific aesthetic, less suited for US drill.
2. Loopmasters UK Drill

This one’s a heavyweight. UK Drill by Loopmasters is produced by Chemo (also known as Telemachus, the producer behind Kilamanjaro Studios in London) and it’s a dark, moody Hip-Hop and Grime collection inspired by 67, Mdargg, Reekz MB, BT, Rendo, 150, Stickz, and Zone 2.
You get over 1GB of content with 119 loops covering music, drum construction kit, full drums, bass, vocal, and percussion, plus 127 one-shots, 168 Rex2 files, 10 Kong patches, and 39 soft sampler patches for Kontakt, NNXT, EXS24, Halion, and SFZ. That’s a serious amount of formats covered.
UK Drill grew out of Chicago drill, grime, trap, and hip hop, and this pack captures that fusion really well. Don’t sleep on this if you want authentic UK drill production tools, the Chemo connection alone makes it worth grabbing. Personally the soft sampler patches are huge, you get the one-shots mapped across your MIDI keyboard for instant playability.
Pros: 1GB+ of content with sampler patches across multiple formats, produced by Chemo. Cons: Older release, format-heavy approach may feel outdated.
3. Production Master Jilted – Drill & Trap Toolkit

Going big with this one. Jilted by Production Master is a 1GB+ library loaded with pure drill and trap fire from the team behind Innovative Hip-Hop & Trap and Juiced-up Drill & Trap.
Inside you’ll find an enormous amount of perfectly engineered beat loops, tons of stemmed-out loops with snappy snares and claps, frantic hi-hats, cymbals, toms, tight trap kicks, plus 100 original full drum loops. The 808 section was designed using a classic Roland TR-808 and various outboard processors for warm distortion.
The melodic content is where this pack really shines, haunting flutes, intense organs, ethereal pads, melodic stabs, delicate piano keys, plucks, vigorous chord progressions, and filtered synth loops. I have to say the inspiration here from artists like Drake, Future, Travis Scott, Metro Boomin, and Young Thug is heavy, this is the trap-leaning side of drill production.
Pros: 1GB+ with TR-808 designed bass and 100 full drum loops. Cons: More US trap-leaning than pure UK drill.
4. RV Drill

Now for something covering both sides of the pond. RV Drill by RV Samplepacks is a heavy collection of deep and dirty beats designed to keep your sound contemporary across UK, US, and global drill styles.
You get 600+ MB of heavy artillery with 65 drum part loops, 30 synth loops, 24 drum loops, 24 percussion loops, 12 bass loops, 8 keys loops, 7 pad loops, plus arps, FX, vocals, strings, and guitar loops. Tempos sit between 68-72 BPM (which is half-time, the standard drill counting style).
The 808 bass is the headline feature here, cavernous and ready to rattle chests. For me this pack is great because it works for both UK and US drill, the sound design is versatile enough to swing either way. Don’t sleep on this if you want a pack that doesn’t lock you into one regional style.
Pros: Versatile pack covering both UK and US drill with cavernous 808s. Cons: Smaller than some competitors, mainly loop-focused.
5. Samplestar French Drill

French drill is the dark horse of the genre and this pack gives it the spotlight it deserves. French Drill by Samplestar is built around the sound of artists like 1Pliké140, Ashe 22, Negrito, CZ8, Chivas Gang, and Gazo & Ziak.
You get 5 premium production kits with 113 files in total, including 74 WAV loops, 20 MIDI files, and 19 one-shots. The sound covers dark and moody synths, raw visceral beats, subsonic gliding bass, and stirring rhythms.
The construction kit format is perfect for getting started fast, you load up a kit and you’ve got a starting point. Personally French drill has this colder, more cinematic quality than UK or US drill, and Samplestar nail that aesthetic. I love how the MIDI files are included, you can swap out sounds while keeping the patterns intact.
Pros: 5 production kits with MIDI files capturing the unique French drill sound. Cons: Smaller pack, niche to French drill specifically.
6. Loopmasters Drill Therapy

Produced by Teka from #Producersdiary. Drill Therapy by Loopmasters is dark, disturbing, hypnotising, and dramatic with a dose of melodic melancholy.
The pack contains 350+ MB of content with 21 drum construction kit loops, 21 vocal FX loops, 16 combi loops, 10 guitar loops, plus full drum loops, bass, synth, keys, and orchestral loops. There’s also 46 drum hits, 30 bass hits, 30 instruments, 14 percs, and 43 soft sampler patches for Kontakt, EXS24, NNXT, and SFZ. Loops play at 140 BPM.
Tomasz “Teka” Kucharski has 25+ years of music production behind him as the owner of Diginoiz, so the production quality is top-tier. For me the inclusion of vocal FX loops is the standout, finding good drill vocal FX is genuinely hard and Drill Therapy delivers.
Pros: Diginoiz-quality production with vocal FX loops and sampler patches. Cons: Smaller content size compared to some packs.
7. Soul Rush UK Drill & Trap

Now this one’s a bit special because it’s the only pack on the list with proper MC vocals. UK Drill & Trap by Soul Rush Records features lyricist and MC Razor delivering authentic vocal samples to twist and chop.
You get 140-150 BPM loops with synths, music loops, brass, string pads, drum kits, and individual drum stems, alongside MC Razor vocals that you can drop straight in or chop and effect. The pack takes influence from Section Boyz, Stickz, Jaxx, Perm, and BT & Rendo.
This is the icy underworld of UK drill, built around the same estate-bound, hyper-local mentality the genre’s known for. Don’t sleep on this if you’re working with rappers or want vocal hooks that already sound authentic. Personally real MC vocals are way more useful than generic vocal chops, you can pitch them, chop them, and build tracks around them.
Pros: Authentic MC Razor vocals plus full drum stems and music loops. Cons: Vocal-heavy, may not suit producers wanting just instrumentals.
8. BFractal Music Dark Drill

Going darker. Dark Drill by BFractal Music takes you on a journey through the darkest side of the genre, with deep and fat 808 subs, rolling hi-hats, crispy claps and snares, vocal FX, creepy textures, and piano loops.
The pack is inspired by a massive list of drill artists including King Von, Central Cee, Sheff G, G Herbo, Famous Dex, Digga D, Pop Smoke, Fumez the Engineer, Ziak, Tedua, Headie One, Vierre Cloud, Kay Flock, 22Gz, Russ Millions, EST Gee, DUSTY LOCANE, Harlem Spartans, plus 410 and 67.
That’s basically every major drill artist across UK, US, and European scenes. I love how broad the inspiration list is, this pack pulls from everywhere rather than locking into one regional style. For me this is a great pack if you want darker, more aggressive drill aesthetics across multiple subgenres.
Pros: Inspired by drill artists across UK, US, and European scenes with creepy textures and gliding 808s. Cons: Bigger artist inspiration list means less focused than some packs.
9. Tone Kitchn Drill

A heavyweight introduction from a label plugged into modern hip-hop. Drill by Tone Kitchn delivers hefty 808s, intricate drum work, plus cold pianos, trippy strings, sick SFX, phat keys, and dope vocal FX.
You get 244 MB of content with 25 synth loops, 19 full drum loops, 19 top drum loops, 18 bass 808 loops, 17 hat loops, 9 keys loops, 5 percussion loops, 4 vocal FX loops, plus pad, string, and mallet loops. Tempos sit between 140-148 BPM for that classic drill counting style.
Tone Kitchn focuses specifically on hip-hop and its underground permutations, so this pack is plugged directly into the modern drill scene. Personally the trippy strings are what stand out here, drill leans heavy on string textures and Tone Kitchn nail that brooding, paranoid feel.
Pros: Modern hip-hop authenticity with strong vocal FX and trippy strings. Cons: Smaller pack, less variety than larger competitors.
10. SHARP Drill Music

Coming directly from New York City. Drill Music by SHARP is a focused collection of 150 sounds including loops, stems, one-shots, and MIDI files for maximum flexibility.
The producer behind this one lives and breathes drill, so you’re getting genuine NYC drill aesthetics in your DAW. SHARP have been delivering production tools since 2013 and they’ve built a reputation for tight, focused packs.
For me the inclusion of stems alongside loops is the killer feature, you can swap individual elements in and out without having to recreate full beats. Don’t sleep on this if you produce NYC drill in the Pop Smoke, Sheff G, or Bizzy Banks territory.
Pros: NYC drill authenticity with loops, stems, one-shots, and MIDI for full flexibility. Cons: Smaller pack at 150 sounds, niche to NYC drill style.
11. ODD SMPLS Aeon – Drill Trap

Closing with a chunky one. Aeon – Drill Trap by ODD SMPLS is a mixture of trendy, banging, atmospheric, and groovy sounds delivering powerful 808 basses, heavy drums, dynamic keys, smooth bells, cool guitars, and lush pads.
You get 812 MB of content with loops rolling out between 80-160 BPM, giving you serious flexibility across drill, trap, hip-hop, and other urban styles. That’s one of the wider tempo ranges on this list.
ODD SMPLS focus on inspiring, melodic, atmospheric sample packs, and Aeon delivers exactly that. I love how versatile the BPM range is, you can use these samples for half-time drill at 70 BPM and double-time trap at 160 BPM from the same pack. Personally the smooth bells and dynamic keys are the standouts, those are the drill melodic elements that really pull listeners in.
Pros: 812 MB across 80-160 BPM range with melodic bells and atmospheric keys. Cons: Wide stylistic spread means less focused on pure drill.
